​COMPETITIONS
There is a competition at each meeting, the theme of which reflects the focus of the guest speaker's talk. The competitions are for members only and are limited to one entry per member.
Our guest speakers judge the entries and those that come first, second and third, are awarded points. At the end of the year the three members that have accrued the most points receive a discount off their membership.

Hedgerow Baking

Abbi is a forager, baker and self-proclaimed food experimentalist, who recently appeared as a contestant on the Great British Bake-Off. She enjoys experimenting with novel ways to flavour cakes and desserts using seasonal and locally grown vegetables.  

Non-members, including men, and members from other WI branches are welcome
to attend ​at the cost of £5.00

​Our programme is comprised of a wide range of interesting guest speakers, many of which involve supporting charitable organisations.
